How the service works, in plain English.
What you get, how the plan is built, what happens on the mountain, and what we'll do if something goes sideways. Still unsure? Ask Cogo directly.

What exactly am I paying for?+
Personal planning from someone who has actually skied Argentina and Chile. You get a written ski trip plan built for your dates, your group, your skiing, your budget and the experiences you care about. You book everything yourself with our recommendations, so there are no hidden booking margins and you stay in full control.
What's the difference between Essential, Blueprint and Concierge?+
All three answer the same questions and cover the same ground. The difference is depth and access. Essential ($99) is a written plan delivered by email within 48 hours. Blueprint ($199) is the same plan plus two video calls so we can shape it around your group in real time. Concierge (custom quote) adds WhatsApp support while you're on the trip.
Do you book flights, hotels or lift tickets for me?+
No. We're not a travel agency. We tell you exactly what to book, where, in what order and why. You book it directly with the provider. Two reasons: pricing stays transparent, and if something changes you keep full control of your own reservations.
Who is this for?+
Skiers and snowboarders planning a trip to Argentina or Chile who want a real plan, not a brochure. First-timers to South America, returning powder hunters, families combining ski days with a city, and groups trying to fit two countries into one week. If your trip is complicated, we're useful.
What does the written plan actually include?+
Resort choice and why, day-by-day suggested ski schedule, where to stay (specific properties at your budget), how to get there (airports, transfers, internal flights), gear strategy (bring vs rent), lift pass advice, food and après recommendations, weather/snow window context, and the order to book things in.
What kind of questions do you answer during the calls and emails?+
The ones a travel agent can't. Catedral or Las Leñas for our level? Is Valle Nevado worth the altitude? Should we rent skis in Bariloche or bring them from home? Which side of the Andes for the second week if a storm comes in? Is it worth flying Bariloche to Santiago mid-trip? Where do locals actually eat? What do we skip?
How long does it take to get my plan?+
Essential: within 48 hours of intake. Blueprint: first call within a few days, full written plan after the second call. Concierge: timeline agreed during the quote.
Can I make changes after I get the plan?+
Yes. Blueprint and Concierge include revisions as your trip takes shape. Essential includes one round of revisions by email.
What if something goes wrong on the trip?+
Concierge clients have us on WhatsApp during the trip. We respond within a few hours during daytime hours for anything trip-related: road closures, lift status, transfer changes, restaurant swaps, snow window pivots, gear problems. For genuine emergencies (medical, rescue) we connect you with local emergency contacts and your insurer; we're not a rescue service.
Can I get last-minute help once I'm already there?+
Concierge is the package built for this. With Essential or Blueprint, on-trip messages are best-effort and not guaranteed. If you know your trip might need real-time decisions (weather, group splitting, country switching), choose Concierge from the start.
Do you help with medical or evacuation emergencies?+
No. Carry proper travel insurance with medical and evacuation cover before you travel. We can help you reach the right local contact, hospital or insurer faster, but we're not a substitute for insurance or local emergency services.
How do add-ons work?+
Add-ons attach to any package. Airport transfers, private guides, ski instructors, equipment rental coordination, restaurant reservations, wine experiences, transportation between resorts. Each is quoted individually once we understand your trip, so you only pay for what fits.
Can I add things later?+
Yes. Add-ons can be added during planning or after the plan is delivered, as long as there's availability on the ground.
Do you mark up add-ons?+
Add-on pricing is transparent. You see the provider cost and our coordination fee separately on the quote.
How do I book a package?+
Pick a package on the Solutions page and pay online. You'll get a short intake form, and we start work from there.
How close to departure can I book?+
There's no hard cutoff. We've planned trips a month out and trips a week out. Send us your dates and we'll tell you honestly whether we can build a useful plan in the time available.
What's your refund policy?+
Full refund within 14 days if you're not happy with the service. No questions. We'd rather refund a client than have them recommend us reluctantly.
Do you handle group bookings?+
Yes, and groups are usually where planning matters most. Use the Concierge custom quote form and tell us the size and structure of the group.
Argentina or Chile?+
Different trips. Chile is shorter travel time from North America and the three resorts near Santiago sit above 3,000m. Argentina has more variety, lower prices, the Bariloche lake district and Las Leñas. Most great South America trips combine both, which is one of the things we plan most often.
When is the season?+
Mid-June to early October. The most reliable window for both countries is mid-July through August.
Can you really do Argentina and Chile in one week?+
Yes. Direct flights between Bariloche and Santiago make it possible to ski Catedral and Valle Nevado in the same trip. The logistics are the tricky part, which is most of what we plan.
